x10 mini pro problem

I've had my xperia mini pro for a year and a half now, and for months now it's been turning off EVERY single time i'm recieving a text message, also... the alarm clock wont work, error in app every time. It's never fallen from a great hight, no moisture spilling on it etc. And in my eyes... a phone should last atleast 3 years.. Anyone had the same problem?
