x10 mini pro camera issues

Hiya

Have the mini pro, latest in a very long line of Ericssons and SE, and major issues with camera.  Gutted I cant mess with camera settings, I can live with it I guess but:

if i take a photo with the built in camera, average file size is 400 kb, and when I print them they are laughable.  Worse than a vga camera.

If I take the same shot using the vignette application the same shot is 2.5mb and print fine...

So obviously my phone isnt taking at 5meg and of course you cant change it!

Anyone got any ideas, I do find vignette very slow....

all in all several things on (or missing) off the phone which make me a little sad as a die hard sony user.

Well the 2.1 update is out this month which may give you more settings etc to play about with in your camera.

i can live without the settings as such   - if the phone was functioning properly...does anyone elses pro do this or is mine faulty?  no way a 5meg camera shoud take this size file.

Everyone else's X10 Rachel, Mini, or Mini Pro all have the same issue. Just wait patiently for it.

to be fair, shouldnt have to wait.  a 5meg camera should take, and be able to print, a decent quality photo out of the box.

Its not like its the first 5meg camera they have done.

Or its their highest spec camera.

Rather let down by SE.

No, no, no. You'll have to take into account this is the first 8 mpx camera in Android. Android is incredibly new to the market and not everything is smoothed out. You have to give them a little time to sort things out.
