Doubt T-Mobile will actually sell it but if the phone is unlocked and it's a gsm phone then it will work with T-Mobile.

no one knows, but Tmobile had the Z and Z3, maybe they'll have one of the X series.

I doubt it. Sony's upper mgt has said they won't be going through carriers (at least here in the U.S.) anymore, so you have to buy the phone from their Sony Mobile site or else Amazon. (I have T-Mobile too.)

I'm going to just buy it unlocked through Amazon. I signed up last year for their Amazon Prime Store card. As long as the Xperia X Performance is $549 or higher, and you have that card, Amazon will give you 12 months to pay it off, interest free! (Anything over $149 gets 6 months.) I preferred not to go that route in the past, but now I have no choice. I got the new S7 and it's a great phone overall but I just don't click with Samsung the way I do with Sony phones. I don't like the physical home buttons, no dual stereo front-facing speakers, sound quality of S7's speakers is not very good (for calls or music), Micro USB not that good so get a lot of "hiccups" while playing music, screen brightness sux under the sun, etc. I had the Z3 but now I want to go back to Sony. Just sux that they are waiting 'TIL JUNE to release it. It was announced in Feb at MWC, but unlike everyone else, they're waiting 'til summer to release it? What gives Sony?

I would highly recommend signing up for that card as I'm sure the Xperia X Perf will be at least $549.

The Xperia X Performance will MOST DEFINITELY work on any GSM network. Those of course being AT&T and T-Mobile. I verified that using this site. So don't worry about that.

Agree Sony's launch cycle . Well they showcase it on February and till July we can't get a hand on it! Totally unfair! This is where the other smartphone manufacturers lead Sony. After the release there will be the showcase of another smartphone from Sony in September or October... Makes no sense as the x performance will be just a couple of months old... Anyone wishing to buy the phone will stop thereafter and well price will go down randomly in couple of months... Whoever bought it desperately will feel as a Jack after that.
I am desperately In need of to change my device. I had my phone slipped down couple of days before and the upper 25% of touchscreen ain't working. I didn't switch to z5 due the SD810. Well, already Sony gets overheated though. The quality ain't worst than any other phones though. Marketing is worse... Don't see a reason to trim a 0.2" in x performance. Positive is the design, ditching the glass on the back is appreciable. Hoping camera gets better now. I mean the clarity and some errors should no longer persist. Also the overheat due to the camera use. Sony is making me wait a lot and if my phone goes worse than I will have no other choice other than to go for iPhone 6s plus by Compromising on the battery, low resolution camera, sound quality and the cost.
