wt19 update to android 4.0 error

My wt19 LIVE WITH WALKMAN phone has android 2.3

I have tried several times to upgrade to android 4.0 with sony companion(latest version) and sony update service.

Sony update service freezes when it says to connect my phone.Sony companion stops when it says to plug my phone while pressing the button which lowers the volume.Please help me solve this problem that makes me crazy.
