.wma format on lww???

Hello everyone,

I just bought a new live with walkman. the phone is great but i think there is

a problem with it, you see it just won't play .wma files eventhough the spec

even though the spec area on many websites show that it supports .wma files.

So can anyone please tell me that what problem could my phone have??

http://www-support-downloads.sonymobile.com/wt19/whitepaper_EN_wt19_live_with_walkman.pdf As you can see on page 15 of LWW's white paper, the Windows Media Audio format is not listed as a supported  file format. Perhaps these websites are confusing .wma with .wav (wave), a format which the LWW does support.

You can use Media Go to transfer these files from PC to phone, which supports both these formats and which should therefore encode your phone's .wma files into a format playable on your phone:

As per the above answers this file format is not supported though you can use MediaGo to transfer/convert the files. You can also use third party players from the Playstore as several of these do support this file format.
