wireless not connecting

A couple of days ago my wireless stopped connecting. Phone seems to see networks but cannot connect. Have tried rebooting router, connecting to another network, forgetting connection, rebooting phone, no change. Seems odd that phone can detect wireless networks but not connect. Phone is on latest software ending 0.108. Loathe to do hard reset and doubt it would help anyway. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Sounds a lot like hardware problem, however did you check settings/wifi/.../advanced?

Yes, everything seems to be set as it should be.

I am out of any sightfull ideas then, seems you tried about every trick except f-reset and we dont like the f-word too much. Do You have any other phone/device that you can try connecting to your wifi just to be sure its ok, allthough you said u tried other wifi so that may not be the problem. Quick googling pulled out this site http://www.smartmobilephonesolutions.com/content/cant-connect-to-wifi-on-android-smartphone. Hope you get it fixed,
