I have tested with several phone models including Xperia PLAY and I can only get it to look like on your second screenshoot. Maybe it's some kind of update or extension for the MTP drivers that's being applied for the Xperia Play on your PC, and the arc S might not be supported by this. That's just a theory though.
thanks Johan i'm curious as to why your play didn't look like mine though on the first pic also curious if any arc owners have got there arc looking like the first pic?
