Wifi problems.

Hello all,

i would like to know why i am not able to connect to my house's wifi.

My other family member's iphones/ipad and computers are all able to connect to the wifi except for my phone.

i updated my phone thinking it would solve the problem and it worked at first but after i off-ed my wifi when i when to sleep, i couldnt connect to the wifi the next morning.

I have tried finding solutions over th net but to no avail. Ive restarted my phone several times and have on and off-ed my wifi but nothing works.

I have also read the thread here but there isnt much that can help me

Please help !

Does your phone detect the network? If yes what happens when you try to connect? Does it try to obtain IP address?

no its doesnt ! thats the problem.

its able to detect other networks around my area but just not my house's one.

everything else in my house is able to connect to the internet except for my phone

(unfortunately,im unable to login using my acc and am using my sis's one instead.)

I've just figure out a solution of wifi problem. I've a live with walkman with OS 2.3.4 and a wifi usb wifi adapter from tp-link. At first my wifi connection on the mobile is dropping so frequently that makes me almost mad. But after so many research and googling I found a solution. I use connectify-me for making hotspot. So fisrt make a hotspot and then connect your phone with it. Then disconnect your phone from the hotspot and stop your hotspot. Then again start your hotspot and connect your phone to it. Now you can use wifi in your phone without any interruption. This works for me atleast. Hope it also works for you. Let me know if anyone find any other solution.

hello, i have tried using connectify-me for a few days but it doesnt seem effective bc my phone still cant sense it.

i have tried using iphone too but it doesnt sense the hotspot from connectify-me. Oh and th hotspot seems to trip every 5minutes o.o
