Mine is xperia c and I am unable to use wifi.It shows the sign and also in the setting menu show connected. But when I search something or want to use social networking site it gives the mesage that result can't be uploaded or connection refused.
try differne wifi ..if the proplem continue i recommend you to reinstall software using sony update service ..if it continues it will be a hardware issue and visit sony service care
