WiFi permanently disabled

The WiFi on my Tablet Z is off and will not turn on. This is since the whole tablet seemingly crashed and rebooted itself - it came back wifiless and has been that way since! From the notifications drop-down the wi-fi button is unresponsive and from the settings app the switch has no effect. Any ideas?

I suggest that you reboot your Tablet Z into safe mode to see if you get the same behaviour:

Otherwise, a software repair would be recommended. This can be done via our program PC Companion:

In PC Companion you press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phone/tablet software > Repair phone/tablet (the blue clickable link in the message) > Follow these steps without having your device connected to the PC.

Follow the instruction that appears in the program and do not connect your device until this guide tells you how to connect it.
