Wifi Hotspot Problem

I connected my phone into a free WIFI Hotspot (65mbps) and take note i got a FULL SIGNAL and it says that i have a limited connectivity.

where as my laptop connected his Note 2 into this wifi without any problem!

I already reconnect and restartesd my phone many times but it stays the same I cant Connect to the Internet.

What might be the problem?

That is really weird. Since you stated that other devices can connect to the wireless network just fine then I will think this is not an issue with the router. However, if you installed any antivirus or security software on your phone, it might be blocking the internet connection. You can try these steps to resolve this issue.

• Make sure that the antivirus or security software does not block the Internet connection by checking the settings of the app.
• Another thing to do is to temporarily disable the antivirus or security software. Enable it before you leave the hotspot zone.

It will be hard to suggest what to do on the router setting since you are in a public wifi and you also stated that you have tried restaring your phone. That's all I can think about what you can do on your end. Good luck!

Firewall off  and Antivirus not installed.

I'm trying to connect my one day old Xperia L through hotspot to my laptop.

m using ecnryption WPA2 PSK. If connects with limited access. tried with both 2G and 3G network and restarting the phone and every possible option,

still no luck.

internet works fine in phone. can anyone help.
