wifi hotspot experia SP

I have a Sony experia sp on ee

I'm getting the kids a hudl each and I'd like to turn my phone into a wifi hotspot so that they can use them in car etc.....my question is can multiple devices connect the the hot spot at any one time? Arguments will arise if only one at a time can connect

You can have more than one devices connected,but the speed of the connection will be lowered.
