Wifi auto turn on when saved networks found

Can anybody tell me where the option to auto turn on wifi when saved network found is hidden? (if it is available anymore). In Xperia SP I had this option under Battery and it was awesome: wifi was turning on by itself when saved network found and off if for a certain period of time (I'm not sure how long) if no not network found.

@Roadrunny76 I think that was called wifi by location which is gone as now wifi connections have been improved (starting with L). You have scanning always available option which is under settings - location - tap on 3 dots.

I have browsed around and discovered also that Sony has given up on location based wifi starting with L, based on the fact that developers have worked a lot on reducing the power consumption of wifi (which truely was not the case with the stock firmware of XA - after updates it is ok).
Thanx for the info.

You are right, that feature got removed from Android itself however there are 3rd party apps that may help but my favorite choice is to use nfc tags to program "stuff" to happen. For example, you can buy 3 tags:

One at home
One in your car
One at your office

Tag your phone home to turn on WiFi, tag your car to turn wifi off, tag your office to turn on WiFi on, repeat.

That is cheap, easy, cool and best of all.. It works!!!
