wifi authentication

Please help. My wifi is saved and secure on the phone. Every time it states authentication problems. My tablet and laptop all work off off my wifi modem. Cant understand why I cant get the cell to do the same. Please someone help, been battling for days now.

More often than not and does work for me when I encounter the same issue is to perform a restart of my router ie: Turn it off or unplug the power for a minute or so then reconnect and wait for it to re-sync and test

Did not work. Very frustrating that I cant get this to work. Any other suggestions. I have tired the airplane mode and that does not work either.

Try to forget the saved connection then re-connecting

Tired your last suggestion and still did not work. Is this a fault with these phones. Very frustrated with this phone. First time I have a Sony and not impressed  at this satage

I am having the same problem with my homehub.

When I come home, the wifi will not connect, keeps searching for IP address then times out by avoiding poor connection.

I have a Xperia S1, switched it on and connected straight away. 

Switching it off and on does not help.

This issue has just arisen since 14/12/14
