WiFi and brightness issues

My xperia z suddenly disconnects from WiFi and the brightness switches off itself when I'm in the middle of using my phone. I don't normally have my mobile data on, so I'm not not sure if it would disconnect too.

Does anybody have this problem as well?

Sounds strange! I suggest that you go to settings > apps > smart connect > clear data. Then restart your phone by press and hold the power button and the volume up at the same time until the phone vibrates (Xperia Z).

Xperia ZL - remove the back cover and press the "off" button with a tip of a pen.
