WIFI and Bluetooth will not turn on

Both WIFI and Bluetooth cannot now be activated on my Xperia Z3. At either the WIFI screen or at the Bluetooth screen, the window is empty except the slider, and when the slider is moved from OFF to ON, it hangs there about five seconds then slips back to OFF. After rebooting and after a hard reset, wifi works and bluetooth works. But overnight the problem returned. WiFi and Bluetooth can no longer be activated.
Is there a fix?

I've got the same problem and just do a restart......but it happens all too often with the wifi and just keeps hanging. Surely we dont need to do a restart each time.

Hi,

Have you guys tried to boot the phone into safe mode? This way you can exclude problmes related to third party applications:
/t5/FAQ/How-to-boot-your-phone-into-safe-mode/m-p/348008

Otherwise, I suggest that you perform a software repair via PC Companion to see if this can help:
http://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/pc-companion/

In PC Companion you press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phone/tablet software > Repair phone/tablet (the blue clickable link in the message) > Follow these steps without having your device connected to the PC.

Follow the instruction that appears in the program and do not connect your device until this guide tells you how to connect it.

Hi,

I have tried both of the method you mention and even reset my phone back to factory default. But none of it actually worked. The WiFi/Bluetooth is still not able to be switch on. Is there any other method?

If you've tried the things that I mention in my previous post but it still does not work, it's unfortunately not much more that you can do on your own. I suggest that you visit nearest service center to have the phone examined by a technician. You can contact your local support team for further information about nearest service center and/or how to proceed with this in the best possible way:
