Wifi / 2g problem

i have been using wifi from the start and just recently i tried using 2g/3g, my whatsapp, gmail etc doesnt work on 2g/3g and works only on wifi , normal browsing wrks though,

what settings to follow in order to make these apps work on 2g/3g netwrk too?

It could be related to a proxy setting within your APN settings from your network operator. Check your APN settings and try to remove any proxy settings to see if the app's starts working over mobile networks.
