I cannot get a Wi-Fi connection on my Z3 Compact Wi-Fi. It searches for Wi-Fi networks, briefly brings up a list, will try to connect if a saved network is found, but then cycles back to searching for Wi-Fi networks.
Factory reset did not do anything to fix the problem.
Doing a repair through PC companion fixed the problem for 3 days before it reappeared.
I tried turning off the Wi-Fi through Settings and restarted the phone and it would not allow me to turn Wi-Fi back on. I think I got it going again by Force Stopping "com.sonyericsson.settings.wifi" version 5.1.1-1 and restarting the phone, though this did not fix the Wi-Fi problem and looking at "com.sonyericsson.settings.wifi" now shows Force Stop is greyed out.
Diagnostics test passed WLAN/Wi-Fi, but interestingly failed NFC and GPS, though I know for sure the GPS works and I have not had any problems with NFC in the past.
Any ideas or assistance would be much appreciated.
