Wi-Fi Issues

Hi All,

I Just a bought a Xperia E and trying to connect to my Wi-fi router.

I have a D-link G modem router with a WPA setup, the phone is unable to connect to it.

I tried connecting the phone to a hotspot on my HTC phone  and it is working fine.

The D-Link modem router is fine because all the other devices in the house are able to connect to it.

Any suggestions ?

disable security on ur router or update phone to jelly bean then try again it will surely work fine

Hi all,

i have the same Problem with my Xperia E (Build-No 11.3.A.0.47 Android-Version 4.1.1). I see my home network, but my Xperia E does not connect to my FritzBox 7050.

I tried a lot of things for e.g. switching off security, static IP, change Wifi mode, change channel, change SSID, but nothing helps.

Several other devices (including my old Xperia X10 Mini with Android 2.1) does connect to my network without problems. To be sure that my Xperia E ist working I tried to connect to a friends network with a FritzBox 7320 and it worked perfect.

What else can I do to make my Xperia E connect to my network?? I am very frustrated, please help me!
