Wi-fi before mobile internet?

I have a question about internet on x10 mini pro. When the phone is on a wi-fi network and the mobile internet network is switched on too, does the phone autimatickly use the wi-fi before the mobile internet?

Yes, it appears to select wifi before 3G stuff.  I have turned off the 3G on mine, just in case, but you should be fine.  I don't know what happens if you lose the wifi connection and have the mobile internet switched on.  I would guess that it would simply switch...

Thank you!   I just realised that I can see in the top line there that when wi-fi is on the 3G icon is gone and when wi-fi is off the 3G icon appears. Those two icons are never there at the same time. Thanks for your reply!

Well on my W995 I can have both icons simultaneously, but the appearance of the 3G/H icon only means that it is available and it won't be used because Wi-Fi will be chosen by default when connected to a wireless network.

On my W995, when the Wi-Fi connection is interupted while browsing on the internet,it will only switch to the mobile network if I click on another link/select another page, therefore giving me the opportunity to exit the browser before being charged for data usage.Might be different on the Xperia, though.

That would make sense.  I don't have a data plan and kept being prompted to pay for data, which is why I switched off my 3G thingy.
