Why E16i mobile can't update?

I had setup the PC Companion in my computer.

But it always failed when it was setuping the updates.

How can I update my E16i successfully?

Hi, what is the current Android version on your phone?

For info, there won't be anymore official update after Android 2.1 for the E16i (SE W8).

You may want to try Update Service if your phone is still not updated to Android 2.1.

My Phone Model is E16i Walkman. i had downloaded & installed the update software, the intrusions given is plug in the USB cable which had already connection with computer, and keep pressing the back key on the phone. My problem was no responeded from computer and Phone. i had press the back key around 15min long.

try with SUS instead of PCC also

1) uninstall PCC and SUS

2) re-install SUS

3) restart your PC

4) turn off your firewall and antivirus

5) run SUS

6) turn off your phone > press and hold the back button THEN connect the usb cable while still holding the back button
