Why Battery is taking more time to charge now a days??

I have been using xperia P for last 3 months.It used to take 1 hr-1:15 hr to charge the battery full, but suddenly from last 7-10 days my phone is taking more time to get full cahrge.Such as its taking time around 2 hrs to cahrge it full!!! Whats the reason?? What can i do?? please let me know.

try a different usb cable and/or wall charger, remember that charging through a computer will take longer

i have already done it with another charger  but no result. even some time now a days the phone drains charge too fast even when the phn is in standby mood.

Same here. I think it is happening since the latest update only. I already have my phone on the battery saving mode. And now, for the past few days, my phone's battery is draining quite quickly. For the same activities, I used to charge my phone only once a day, but now I need to charge it thrice daily.

My wifi isn't constantly on either. And since the new update, my notification ringtone is not working (Its was working after updating to ICS).

I confirm this.  Ive noticed that as well. Since the last upgrade it recharges slower than it used to be.

It may not actually be taking longer to charge, After the ICS update, the notification bar updates itsefl less, meaning your battery percent may say 35% when its actually on 95%, try truning your phone off and on again, or install a third party status bar on the play store such as Omega Status bar or Superstatusbar. Also, you can download Sony PC Companion, which will allow your to re download the phones software to try and repair it. Hopefully these tips helped.

Download Sony update service or Sony Pc companion and you have there all you need to repair the software.I recommend update service.
