From what I understood, and to my knowledge (with all due respect to Sony Team), the problem with updates to 4.2 seems to be related to the Snapdragon S3 in our device... The same thing is happening to some versions of the HTC One S... and Qualcomm not giving enough tools to make the update possible...
Now apart from the rumour...Henke, I would really love to know if there will be a fix to the problems existing in the current version of firmware... I think people wouldn't mind if it is still 4.1.2, as long as the following is fixed:
- Video Recording lag for 1080 and 720p
- Aspect selection for front facing camera is inverted (when you select 16x9 it is actually 4x3 and viceversa)
- Volume Up sometimes not responsive after using headphones port or some bluetooth audio devices...
- 3D pictures support for all those pictures we took while on 4.0.4
And would be great if you bring back the "two finger scrolling" that was available for all the lists...
Also WiFi Direct implementation as found on Xperia Go, which is beyond me as to why it hasn't been implemented in this device.
