I read news from Verge :
"Motorola also said that it would offer a $100 trade-in credit to those who bought a Motorola phone in 2011 (or later) that isn't eligible for the update to Jelly Bean."

Sony should the same thing. If they don't release JellyBean update for Xperia 2011 series , they should give trade-in credit like Motorola.
Looo000oooL
no i do not think sony may do this
i think 2011 Xperias will not get JellyBean and most of 2012 only will get it too
make that $150 and I'd trade in right away..
there are other threads on the subject

why is the above message being moderated?
Which one do you choose? JellyBean or trade-in credit or nothing?
Give me 150€, they can keep the phone (I spend 260,-€) and forget me forever. If I would get my money back I would be the happiest customer. But it will not happen, because: NOONE WILL EVER GET JELLY BEANS FROM SONY, except for the phones announces now.
Prove me being wrong!
Yes you are right. We will get nothing.
There will be only buggy, laggy ICS update for Xperia 2011 owners.
