Recently the New firmware 6.0.B.3.184 was certified for Xperia U & Sola and Not for "P"...
Do we get the ICS Directly ?
The update is not yet available in India....
Change to MSC (Mass Storage) and connect again
I tried the usb debugging mode:
usb composite device --->check
MTP usb device ----> X
Sony ericcson sa0104 ADB interface driver ---> check
So it wont instal that MTP thing in this way
Any suggestion?
Could the avast anti-theft cause it? It didnt let the fw isntall properly?
Where can i cahnge it to MSC?
In Settings_xperia_Connectivity settings u will find USB connection
There u will get two options right
1. MTP
2. MSC
Check the MSC its done, while doing this make sure u disconnect the USB from PC ,
And Also uncheck the debugging mode it is for developing u dont need that.
It wont let me change there anyithing, only MTP is there :S
Thanks for helping me btw
Factory reset leaves the current firmware or it reinstalls the old? Should I try it?
The FW remains the Same, There wont be any change........
Make sure to take the back up of ur phone memory, As they get format by doing Factory reset.
Oh dear how will I fix this then
A conflict with an app can cause this?
Was so good before the update, if I knew this will happen...
Is there a way to manually install an older FW? So i can transfer it via bluetooth to the phone and then do it?
Or should I bring it back to t-mobile?
Or wait till the ics arrives hopefully in few weeks and it will fix it? Anyway I couldnt install it without PC companion... This sucks
I am so disappointed atm
Why don't you try downloading SEUS (Sony (Ericsson) Update Service).
Here: http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service/
It works better than PC Companion most of the time.
Oh and I have the new software version installed as well (Netherlands/German firmware).
