where do u enter a pass key to pair on bluetooth?

i am having problens connecting my phone to a garmin gps bluetooth unit .the phone and garmin gps find each other but the garmin gps unit says pass key is 1234 and won't connect to phone.i can't work where in the settings of the phone u put the pass key in the sony phone so it will work.

try pairing again, remove the first pairing .

make sure that the phone is discoverable. and initiate the pairing, if the phone receives the notification you must see a text box, tap on that and the keypad will pop up, and enter the code.

I am having a similar problem with my GPS.  Its detecting the phone but not pairing.  I have tried all combinations like removing the earlier pairing etc to no avail.

hmm I am not familliar about pairing with GPS devices, what's wrong with the gps on your phone?

try clearing bluetooth data

settings>apps>manage app> Bluetooth> tap on clear data

try the same with liveware
