when charging sometime it charges sometimes it doesnt

When I was charging with a micro usb cable it doesnt charge but sometimes it will pop the charge symbol and sometimes it will stop charging again. I dont know why is it like this?

Have you tried charging like this through more than one power point and is this the original cable that came with the phone?
