whatsapp problem

Hi everyone, I've been trying to solve this problem for about 3 months, and let me tell you guys about it. The main problem, I guess, is when I'm using mobile data (with wifi on works perfect), after I turn on the data traffic whatsapp works normally, but after 20 minutes using it, I stop receiving notifications messages. I don´t know what may be the problem..

Help me out please...

HI,

Is your stamina mode on?

If s on, make sure the whatsapp application is added to the stamina mode white list so that the system will not stop it from running on background.

If is already at the white list or stamina mode not on the issue still there, best to try clear the app data or reinstall to monitor the situation.

Thanks bro, I will try out your suggestion, even though I don´t know how to see the white list on the stamina mode!! If you can help me out to check that that it would be great!!!

Hi tuti737,

I'm not sure what phone you're using, but if is android 4.1 above should be Settings > Power management  > Stamina Mode(Check the toggle is on or off).

If is on, Tap on Add application inside stamina mode > search for whatsapp on the list and tap Done. That will add it to the Whilelist to avoid the app from stop running while the phone is idle or screen is off.

But if your stamina mode is off and never on before, then i will suggest you to clear the Whatsapp data and try to resign in to whatsapp to monitor and see if it resolve.

How do I clear the whatsapp data??

HI tuti737,

Go to settings > Apps > scroll to All > Whatsapp

tap on Clear Data.

If you want to save the picture or media the you received from other sender.

Use a file manager to navigate to internal storage and open up the whatsapp folder to move the file to your SD card.

Clear data will erase all the items on whatsapp. Hope this helps.

Thanks for all of your help, I really appreciate it. I'm testing out all of yours suggestions, I have one question ¿if I erase whatsapp data without making a backup that means that I will loose all item received by contacts??

Don't you think that the problem maybe be caused by a virus??

pictures, videos etc sent by your friends should remain on your phone, but I do recomend that you back them up on your computer

I tried everything and nothing solve the problem!! Is the last choice to reset the cellphone???

It seems to work out one time, but as soon as I turn off the mobile data and turn it on again I came to same problem!! 

I really don't want to reset the phone, many people have the same problem but nobody has a solution.
