whatsapp diwnload problems on Xperia U

my current whatsapp version expired, as i tried to download a latest version on google play store i got a notification that it's not available in my country which is Malawi. is there any way i can get a working whatsapp version on my xperia U? please i desperately need it. help! thanks!

Hello Team,

The same problem exists for me, Watsapp is not working for me.

I am using Xperia U and watsapp was working before.

Then I uninstalled and installed it again and when I try to enter phone number this says

'Unable to connect. Please check you are connected to internet and try again.

Please reboot your phone if your connection problem persists'

I am connected to data and also tried reboot but no luck.

I have read in some other forums to clear cache and data that also not works.

Please help me.

Have you try to register using wifi connection?

I would definitely advise trying the advice of Fahim715 and if this works it would tell that you have what is termed "WAP" settings instead of internet settings. These are basically a limited version of the internet settings and will often have problems with sites/services that require a secure connection. If this is the case here then I would advise contacting your network provider directly to have this resolved.
