What will be the expected prices of sony U in india ?? When it will release in india?

I am greatest fan of sony ericsson !!

I am planning to buy the sony xperia U & started saving money for it!!

So anyone tell the release date of this mob ?? & Expect prices ?? (in INR)

Or else can i buy Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray with market price around 1500/-

For pricing info you should ask the stores. Pricing info can vary a lot when a phone hasn't been launched yet so I suggest you wait for some more time before taking these numbers as a fact.

regarding ray , as soon as the new xperias will enter market , prices of 2011 generation xperias will go down . so wait for them to release

I have bought one for my daughter yesterday, price at around US$260. This is in fact a little bit cheaper than my Neo V which I bought it right before last Christmas............

I spent about a couple of hours to do all the setting and things, but failed to transfer some of the files (mainly apps, photos and music were all ok) from the old unit (HTC Wildfire) to the Xperia U, what I did was : take the sd card from the Wildfire and copy all files to pc, and try to transfer the files to Xperia U through PC Companion, failed; then I tried to copy the files into the Xperia U by means of "Start -- My Computer -- Removable Disk G", but also failed. Which means I have to download all the apps from Play again!!

As compare to my Neo V, the Xperia U is a lot smoother and faster in scrolling pages and all other things thanks to its duo cores.

P.S. I am from Hong Kong.

well you cannot transfer apps like this

some portion is saved in the internal memory as well even if the application is transferred to sd card. so yes you have to install them again.
