As far as I understand this is a system process that manage the wake up process of the phone when certain apps etc. are used.

I suggest that you don't inactivate or delete this process.

Thanks for the reply, can you teach me how to inactivate or delete this process?
I do not have any apps that I know that is using any wake up process.

I understand that once I turned on WIFI and I leave the place and or go into another WIFI zone (eg: from office to home), the phone will stay awake and this "come.sonyericsson.andriod.wakeup" will be kept on and on...

I have since turned off the phone and on again... And since then have not turned on my wifi and it seems that the battery is better. However, this would mean that I can't use WIFI?!?

Appreciate your kind help in this.

Thanks!

my wifi is never off and spends most of it's time connected, my battery lasts for days without charge, I'm an average user - pictures - internet - text - a few calls

my battery right now is at 80% -  I've been on battery for 26 hours without charging - estimated time left is 3 days 20 hrs - I don't uses stamina

can you post a sceenshot of your battery usage profile

also remember that if something is showing - using 30% of battery usage of 2% used - it is just that

it's not 30% of batery it's 30% of 2%

there are many threads on this forum about battery usage

Dear GeoffH,

I also kept my WIFI on all the time, but I am using the Location-based WiFi that Sony did to save battery... Does it mean that it doesn't save batt at all by using the Location-based Wifi?

Meanwhile, attached is the screenshot. You can see that once WIFI is turned on, the phone is kept awake... And if I switched off WIFI, the phone is still kept awake.
