What is software repair..??

I'm just curious what does it actually do..?? Does it download the whole firmware again and reinstall it or just install the missing components which might have remianed in the previous installation.. I'm thinking of doing it because automatic routing of calls to loudspeaker is just annoying me too much..:@

It reinstalls the software erasing the actual one(all phone memory is erased).All apps are taken back to default.

that loadspeaker problem caused by chrome..uninstall upgrade and reboot..also you can disable chorme

hey alexdon is routing of calls to loudspeaker is known bug or it is just case of wrong firmware installation, because i'm on limited data plan so if again downloading the whole firmware didn't solve my problem the Ln my 1 gb will go in vain

@danial I've already disabled the chrome but the problem still exist

and tried clearing cache and data for smart connect?

setting>apps>all>smart connect clear data and cache..force stop..reboot phone

After you disabled chrome,have you restarted?

Also,sony update service must be run on your computer,not on the phone.

yup did that too even disabled the smart connect app too.. problem get solved temporarily but after 1-2 calls come back again..!!

I suggest you do try a software repair,but it might come back.

@alexdon ya I know update service runs on pc and my dsl is also limited plan thats why I'm saying
