WELL DONE Sony for cheating people

I used my brand new Z2 in pool hardly 5 minutes, took some pictures. Water gone inside and the phones dead. Service center informed me no warranty for water damage and charged me more than half of mobile cost. I requested them and call many places including Sony and finally I found that this is the way Sony is making money. WELL DONE Sony for cheating people like this. All other brands of mobile phones survives better than your waterproof phone in the water. 

Apart from this the phone was good. And decided I will never ever do this mistake(buying SONY).

I guess you messed up as a vacuum test would have been performed and if it passed then the issue is you and how you use your phone

Sony clearly says waterproofing is only in fresh water... Pool water contains chlorine and many other things which damages the flaps tightness and water goes inside...
I'm using z2 underwater many times but no problem at all..

bought 2 wk and snap pix underwater using z2 .. the next day phone goes crazy..

send to sony centre for repair.. after 1 month then i get my phone back..

so now i'll never get my phone contact with water again.. 

imagine 1 month without your newly bought phone.. huh..
