Why is the weather widget only uppdating when there is a WiFi connection, if there is no WiFi connection the widget says no connection

Weather widget needs to connect to internet in order to receive data

I understand that the weather widget needs to connect to internet in order to recive data, but why is it only working with WiFi and not with 3G? data traffic is activated on the phone and it´s possible to access the internet, but the weather widget is not updating.

Try tapping on it to see if it's updating or not

I hope you haven't installed any app that monitors data traffic ?

I have not installed any data traffic monitoring app and the weather widget is not updating when I tap on it, you only see a little circle spinning in the right corner for a short while and nothing happens.
