Weak microfone input on Xperia P

Hello,

I have been trying to use both the native SIP client and various external applications such as Bria and others but the other party can barely hear me on the other end because my microfone input is too weak. There are not settings in the native client for this and Bria's microfone gain setting does not do any good. Is there any way to fix it? Thanks.

Well, it's hard for me to determine of this is something just in your phone or in these phones in general. Have you compared to any other Xperia P to see if the volume in the microphone is the same?

I'm having the same issue.... installed and tested the app csipsimple and the volume of the mic is very much lower than in a regular GSM call.

I have tested the app with other mobile phones and it's much worse in quality.

Any idea? I'm using official sony experia firmware 4.0.4

I'm encountering a problem with my xperia p with an error "The accessory's microphones and buttons are not available". I already tried to update through sony pc companion 3 times but the problem still exist. Also, if I recieve a call I hear the voice but the other line cannot hear me. Please advise any suggestion to resolve this problem. Thanks!
