explain to me why you say that the sony xperia z is waterproof when it is not?

my xperia z fell in 70 cm of water, all the flaps were closed but the water has entered the same and that is why the phone has not been repaired under warranty. Now I have a phone not working, I am still paying, this is because sony sells shoddy products and is not meeting the consumers.

it never said it's waterproof it said it's water resistance which is not same as waterproof, it means it can handle some water for few mins and short cm or something like that so idk where you saw it saying it's waterproof.
