water proof with pressure sensor test

 Dear all,

short time after getting my phone from the provider, I had the problem that the backside lifted up a little bit. I sent the phone to the repair department of the provider. I got it back and the lift up was gone. Now I read about a test with the pressure sensor of the phone to check for water proof. They say when you press the phone a bit the pressure will rise which means there are no holes somewhere. Hope this is right. The problem for me is when I do this, there pressure does not rise at all. It is always around 985,6 Millibar. Only minimal rise up to 986 Millibar. Does this mean my phone is not water proof? Means the repair by the provider was wrong? Would appreciate any help in this.

Thank you very much.

Cheers,

Marko
