The phone itself was on a shelf, so it wasn't even dunked in water.
I've had no problems doing this before, but I just don't know what went wrong. I've had the phone since launch day on contract with Three and I've taken pics of the phone and tabs, which you will see. I also have a vid if required.
The water indicators look white, no red.
The touchpad itsefl doesn't work either but the phone switches on. The screen is clear but the camera lens is foggy.
I would welcome any advice.
Thanks.
You need to look on the back of the lids, not there.
The back of the lids are just simply black. No white or red.
Edit: Should I still upload the pics? I do have bad eyesight but I can see colour fine and both backs of the flaps are black.
On Z1,the inside of the lids is where the indicators are placed.Do not know about Z3 then,it might not be there. Maybe you can post some pictures.
The bottom pic of mine, on the left there is a square that as an arrow poiting to it it that says 'off'. Is that not that indicator tab?
That is the button to force shutdown the device in case it freezes.
Well then, doesn't seem like there are any indicator strips or tabs. It might explain why I'm having a hard time finding any vids or pics online to help my issue.
Why would that be?
I cannot help you in this case as I do not have a Z3. Please contact a staff member:

I'll get on that, mate, in time. Phone is working ish again now so getting the date and I'll see what my service provider says. Do you think its worth making a topic asking if anyone knows where the strips are or if Sony have even taken them out?
I think you should keep the discussion here,it is more active. After the weekend,I will contact one of the staff members too, telling them to have a look at this.
Much appreciated.
