Hi there.
I bought z3c yesterday and today I've tryed it under water, made a few shots of fishes, about 10cm under the water.
Sure, I've checked cover before, but I've found few drops under the covers. Telephone is ok, nothing happened and works fine, but the humidity sensor is now pink/red, which means it's not under the warranty anymore. Does somebody have the same issue? I'm scared to shoot under the water again because of this. I bought it mainly because it should be ok to shoot under water. What can I do now? Have to say I'm really dissapointed with this.
You can either take it back to the place of purchase or contact Xperia care http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/
Was it salt water?
Also, do the ports close properly? Are they level with the sides or do they stick out a little?
It was normal water, covers were leveled perfectly
I know I do have to check it so I did. I know I can take it back to the store, but I'm pretty sure what they will say. That it's my fault. This is not my firsr Xperia. I have T, Z tablet and now Z3c. I love Sony products, but I wanted ask you guys at first if somebody had same problem. As I said, device is perfectly fine, but I'm worried.
So right now my phone is not ok. Cover Glass for camera is foggy and phone still starting camera app without cause. Im 100% sure that is not my fault.
Now my dedicated shutter button for camera stop working. I think the watter came through this button.
When water gets in your phone, you should not continue to use it; switch it off, put it in a bag of uncooked rice and let it be there for 24 hours so that it has time to dry. It may be too late for yours, but I don't know...
Thank you, I know that. Humidity is gone for noe,but I suspect the glass front or back. I will try warranty because it is not water resist.

What / where is this humidity sensor? Just out of interest, as I wasn't aware there was such a thing and it's not referenced in the manual! Seems an odd thing to invalidate the warranty over, as if the sensor gets wet does it remain that way forever, even if the phone continues to work for the next year and then breaks for something completely unrelated?

Sensor is a white stripe under flaps. If it gets pink or red it means water entered the phone. It stays red forever.
There are two possibilities. Phone's fault. It will fail vacuum test in service center or your fault and phone will pass vacuum test. Then warranty is void.
Also do not open flaps just after immersing phone in water. Let it dry for few hours. Remove external cover if you use one, because water may stay there.
If for some reason you hit salt water clean the phone immediately with fresh water and let it dry. IP68 is only against fresh water with flaps perfectly closed.
