Walkman problems after JB update

I've updated my XP to JB last June.
After the update I did encounter the album bug like many of us here but it can be easily solved.

My real problem is my walkman.
After the update, it seems like walkman takes so much time to play a song, sometimes the app itself hangs.

I tried downloading other music players but it's still the same.

I just really didn't mind this before but now it's kind of irritating.

I only run my music through VLC app but it's audio stuff is limited.

Can anybody help me with this?

Clear data for walkman and see if anything changes.

Factory data reset !!!
