Walkman problem

Hi, if I receive a message, notifications or any connection with network while I am listening to music, music stops for few seconds and starts playing again. Is this normal for Xperia phones? I used to have iPhone 4 and had no such a problem with it.

I also went to a repair centre and told them what my ploblems were but same problems occur.

sadly that's normal, it's a good or bad thing, if you are a music lover it is horrible, if you must know when you get notifications/sms/mms/emails, etc it's really nice
