Walkman issue

Walkman's clear bass doesn't provide clarity. If I try to move the clear bass slider towards higher end the background sound dips. I thought it could be a problem with the headphones but they work fine on my friends miro and Ion. So is it just with my phone or any one else is also having the same problem. Help please cause the sound is pretty annoying

Tried clearing data in the first place. Doesn't make Any difference. Let's hope 4.3 update solves this problem.

also sometimes while am playing music if I get a txt message or bbm the sound response suddenly becomes flat as in treble levels go up abruptly. It becomes normal after some time though
