Walkman application stops music playback randomly

after upgrade to JB, walkam stop randomly during playback vidoes the same. JB version 4.1.2 really makes my phone quiet hot during usage has any one experienced this ??

phone display also flickers alot do i need to reset my phone to solve these  issues ???
