Walkman app looses songs in playlists

The Walkman app on my Xperia Z1 (upgraded to KitKat) looses the contents of my Playlists.

I can't figure out why, but every time I build a playlist, sooner or later the songs disappear.

The Playlists themselves remain, but they are empty.

where are the songs stored? (SD card or internal storage)

That could be issue, wihch class is your SD card?

not sure. Its a Lexar High Speed 32gb.

unmount then remove the SD card, you should be able to see a circle with a number inside, but try to move some music to the internal storage and then try again

I'll try moving some music to the internal drive, but is known that music stored on SD cards won't stay in playlists?
What difference would the class of the SD card make?
Also, I'm not sure if this also happened before the upgrade to KitKat.

iit'll be wise to try my suggestion, your SD card might be acting up

So far all I have done is remove the SD card, then re-installed it. So far the playlists remain.

I will let you know if they once again disappear.
