Walkman App crashes while using stock Browser?

I've started to have an issue with the Walkman App stops playing while using the stock android browser. The music player icon still shows with the controls on the notifications pull down. At this time the app is not on the running tasks list and when re-opening the app, the music list has changed to what it shows after a load of new music (so need to reselect what was playing).

The usage has been through a bluetooth headset with smart connect setup with times/tasks. I have cleared the browser settings/cache etc and got the problem come again. Will need to test it without bluetooth and/or smart connect running etc.

Has anyone else come across this issue?

Hmm, that's strange. I'm using the same phone with MH1 headset, also set up with Smart Connect and don't experience these issues. The music still plays even when browsing the internet.

The only thing I can think differs between our setups is the tasks in the Smart Connect app. Try resetting data for it and just set up the bluetooth connection without any tasks and try again. Does the problem still occur?

The problem shows up sometimes only and that too after sometime of browsing..maybe near 10mins.

Also realised, I havent mentioned that I did root and unroot the phone with only change applied is adding the skyfall theme in the appropriate folder.

I tried without smart connect and music player stopped while browsing and lost the track it was playing (reset as if just loaded new songs). Also when this happens..pressing the home button shows the home screen with a lag (as in it appears slowly with the shortcuts later etc as in the Arc S)

Still seems very strange. I would recommend that you try updating your phone software via Update Service to see if it solves the problem. Please get back to me if it doesn't.

ok.. what you mean is more or less repair the phone isnt it?

will try it soon when i can spend some time to backup etc.

Yepp. As I can't reproduce your error and haven't head anything about this before my conclusion is that there's something wrong in the software of your phone.

Now I have exchanged the phone due a suspected mic issue for calls, and the new phone (not rooted etc) has a similar issue.

On browsing for sometime, it sometimes stops the music player (but the playlist does not reset as on the previous phone) and the homescreen lag is present at that moment.

Samuel its not the problem of andriod jelly bean its the problem of walkman, you guys need to fix the bug which is stinging since the inception, now we are in 8.5.a.2.8 still the same issue?! very sad
