I must replace my 2G W580i. I don't want a smartphone. What SE 3G phone is closest in style and function to the W580i?

it seems that all Sony phones are smartphones you could go with the Sony Ericsson Cedar or Sony Xperia X5 (Pureness) or Sony Ericsson C905
By "smartphone" I meant the large "big screen" phones of today. I'll look at those you suggested. Thanks!
Not too long ago there was another user similar to your situation/request, check those phones
The good thing about sony is they still make phones that are reasonable in size.
here are my suggestions:
the Z compact series (ZR, Z1 Compact, Z3 Compact)
the E series (which are entry level , so don't expect too much)
