I faced the same problem. This solution worked for me. Thank you.
Where in the settings is would I look for the slow speach setting. I looked everywhere on my SP last night. I do recall using it once when listening to a voice mail message, but can't see it anywhere in settings.
Yes everyone sounds a little tipsy now.

OK I finally found it ... Call settings. I will wait and see if brother-in-law sounds tipsy the next time we talk.

I thought everyone had been drinking-even at 8 in the morning!
The biggest problem, was that I sounded the same....Not too great for business.
Why this is set as a default, I cant understand.
