Can anyone help me on voice call quality problem with bluetooth hf and Xperia Go? My voice quality (what people who i am calling hear) is good in silent condition like indoor but if I have to increase amplitude of my speak, my voice gets distorted, like "overdrived". It makes that my hf is almost unusable in outdoor.
I have tried 3 different bluetoot hf: Jabra Extreme2, Sony Ericsson VH410 and Nokia Bh-200. Same problem with all tree ones. And those work ok with my another phone. Maybe it's somethink to do with microfone intensity control?
I want to know is this common problem for Xtreme Go with fw 6.0.B.3.184 or is there somethink wrong with my phone? I haven't tried hard reset yet, only rebooted many times.
Thanks for posting and welcome to the forum!
Does this only occur when you use a bt headset? Never when using the "normal" speaker and mic?
Does it happened when using a wired headset?
Try it out and let me know!

Thanks:smileyhappy:
Problem not occur with "normal" speaker and mic. Also I tried with wired headset and voice quality was excellent.
The problem occur only with bluetooth handsfree on with "uplink" (from me to peaple who i am calling) direction. Another direction is allways good.
Is it true that no one has the same problem?
Today I tested with another Xperia Go in local store and noticed same distorted sound.
It's easy to test this with Bluetooth Mic Test apk, available in Google Play.
Again, with any other phone my bluetooth hf works fine but with Xperia Go i can't use bt hf because people do not always hear what i say.:smileysad:
It isn't only you. I am experiencing the same problem. My wife refuses to talk to me now when I am using the bluetooth headset as the quality of sound that she hears is unacceptably disorted. How she describes it would fit with your over driven description. She says it sounds like a parrot squaking down the phone as loud as possible. I have no problems hearing her, however I do have problems hearing when using the handset. But this may be a physical product problem I think.
I'm waiting the ICS update if it would help. If not I will send the phone to a service center.
What radio baseband you have? I have U8500-49020604-R1G_EC14
It's frustrating that I can not use the bluetooth headset as before when i used it always.
you can try to repair your android os. us pc companion to do this. make sure you also have a good backup of your files and others important to your phone.
I've already tried repair but it did not help.

@ Support team,
Have you reported this issue to the developers? Is anybody working on it? or you are just waiting for the complains number to reach a specific target first!!??
I don't think Bluetooth is a cutting age technology for a name like Sony. especially the 2.1 version.
Thank you and apologizes if i was too direct.
