voice-activated dialing

Sorry Im perhaps stupid, but I do not know how to get this going on my X10 mini pro. Help...

Hi,

We noticed your post hasn't been answered so we're hear to help you with this.

There is no Voice Dialling application on the handset as standard. There is an application within the handset called 'Voice Search' which allows you to say the name of the contact to locate the number in the handset however to dial this you would need to tap the contacts name.

If you wish to use a Voice Dialling application which allows you to call a contact without touching the handset, you would need to check for third party applications within the Android Market which may help with this.

Aimee - the voice dialling on the X10 does NOT work! If I try and say "Call Tim XXX" which I will do now in a completely quiet room I will post my results:-

"Open AutoExpress"

"Call Someone Else"  - wrong name

"Call Someone Else" - wrong name

IT DOES NOT WORK - EVER!!

Same problem with BT handsfree - it does not work!

This is somethign that has been mentioned before - is there going to be an improvement when 2.1 arrives?
