videos can't play unknown url

I've recently taken a few videos on my z2 and they won't play just comes up unknown url worked fine before some are on sd card some are on internal memory I've tried moving them around and tried downloading video players off playstore no look any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

That's quite odd, try this

settings > apps > all > album/camera/movies > clear defaults/ clear data

Thanks for the reply I've had a look and there are no defaults to delete if I delete the app data will I lose any of my current videos that work fine as I have loads I dont want to lose?

Just clear the data, it should not delete the pictures and/or videos

The videos might be corrupted, use a file manager and look for the videos and/or transfer them to a computer and check them

How about if you boot on safemode

Hi there, recently had trouble with this..

After taking some videos, I go to view them in "Photos" and/or "Album" but both just say "cannot be played" although I've only just taken the video!?

I've tried suggestions above however none seem to work.
